Fuel tank vent

Fuel tank vent
Not sure how the full size Rangers are set up, but on the Midsize including the 570, one of the first things to do is move the fuel tank vent line.
From the factory, the vent line is stuck in a hole in the frame rail. This is a very poor design. This allows water, dirt and mud to enter the fuel tank.
Pull the line out of the frame rail and install a cheap fuel filter in the hose. You can then tie it to the frame so it doesn't flop around. This will save you some real headaches!!
Even just washing the Ranger can get water in the fuel tank. This should be the first modification you do!!
