Got my Ranger Pro-Lift kit today.........
I'm going to try one more time. The BW adj-lift, for me, was a joke. The front axles bound-up big-time at full-droop. I'll get some pics up later tonight.
Re: Got my Ranger Pro-Lift kit today.........
Wow is all I can say about this lift!!!!! Zero axle-bind, Fit perfectly!!! Some of you know me ,if it's junk,I'll say-so!! There are many opinions about bottom-mount vs, top mount lifts. I was apprehensive at first. All lifts are not the same. The man thought this one out!! It takes a lot for me to be impressed.............I'm impressed!!!

Since Bill's sons have continued the business after his tragic accident.
I would like your thought on the welding, fit, finish, grade of bolts supplied etc.
I know since you were impressed with it, it must be good.
But I would like a little breakdown on the lift.

Tox,
The welds look fine. It installs without any "adjustments", unlike a lot of this aftermarket UTV stuff. Grade-5 bolts- They are not plated, just painted black, mine were chipped-up a little. I'd rather them not be painted myself. I did touch them up. The front was a breeze to install, the rear a little tricky because of how and where the bolts go, but not really a big-deal. The only thing that gave me any grief at-all was getting the washers between the shock-bushings and the lift brackets. The kit came with everything you need down to each washer. Compared to the BackWoods adj-lift I installed, and un-installed after I saw how much the front-axles bound, it was night and day.

Just thought I'd post the same video link here. We wouldn't want everyone misinformed that ALL Backwoods Armor lifts put the axles in a horrible bind. Mine aren't.

Re: Got my Ranger Pro-Lift kit today.........
Another binding BW lift is on the scene......??? Again, not a bash Dean. I just see a trend.
I love PRC. But I think people have been intimated to the point that they won't say anything negative about any sponsor for fear of getting their palm slapped. Maybe, just maybe, my seemingly outlandish posts are sort of a gateway to say what you really feel....over there. Here on the other hand, cuss, fuss ,do what you want!!!!!!!
OZ (you see my new sig-line @ PRC??) LOL

Oh and another thing. I'm SURE Curt will read this....His beloved Racer-Tech top lift
( After his long dissertation) bent more RZR front frames than Carter ate liver-pills. It also was a binder in the front......The guy may well have fixed it by now, but back in late 08 it was not good...........

Re: Got my Ranger Pro-Lift kit today.........
Yes sir, I saw Jason's post about his issue with axle-bind also. I understand you're not bashing, and just expressing your experiences. That's all I really wanted to do as well. In the beginning, way back when... You brought up a very important point anyway. That most folks probably do not even check for axle-bind when they're installing lifts. Just like you, I had checked it out before setting it down. That's the only reason I knew mine was all good, and I've been pleased with it.
Anyways, I know one thing for sure.... If YOU sign off on a product, I'm certain that it's a good buy!
And a BIG 10-4 on the sig!!! Haha... I Love It!
All hail The Great and Powerful OZ!!!

Thanks Bro.... Yessir, I enjoy every kind of riding. Especially exploring some different ground, and meeting good people! If there is any way that I can swing it, I'd really like to go. I'll be looking into it, for sure! Thanks again for the info!
